I’ve begun tweeting instructive, progressive YouTube videos directly to Donald Trump, or Nancy Pelosi, or whomever. Maybe some of their followers will watch the shows, and experience a political epiphany!
My style is polite and respectful, coming across as if I innocently think he/she may be interested, and uses serious hashtags. Then I end with something like, “Show the Dems (or GOP) how to do it!” It’s just nice, clean, reverse-propaganda. An example:
I never look back, thus ignoring any and all nasty responders. I will mute, if necessary.
So far, however, it looks like I’m the one being ignored. Which must mean people are busy watching the video. That’s cool, and the anticipation of response makes it all the more fun!
You and I know this “instructional campaign” is tongue-in-cheek… but what the heck. It makes online activism fun. Everyone needs to have some FUN during the corona quarantine, and who doesn’t LOVE giving advice??? (Especially to the high and mighty!)

One of the most important lessons I have learned from the pandemic would be to assume that our current government of the state of Florida and at the federal level cares very little about keeping me safe and healthy from the spread of the virus. Top heavy answers will not humanely deal with this problem.

Most people have such a strong sense of patriotism, or sense of home, that it’s very difficult to accept that their beloved country or state does not love them back. But the addiction to greed and power is like any other addiction. Eventually, addicts abuse and rob their own families. Florida State leaders are not thinking of your health and safety. Self-interest is their only concern.
It’s time for an intervention. Or, as some people would call it, jailing. Or maybe a revolution of (nonviolent) feet in the street — like Yellow Vest movement.
We can’t keep letting these dysfunctional bastards destroy all of us. They can have a choice: jail, or revolution. But they can’t live off us anymore, like giant deranged parasites killing one host off after another.

Yes I hold old Latin American Revolution sounds like a great idea now. It’s a good time for us to get out of South Florida on our road trip. I’m faced with a reopening up of facilities on March 18 here as if everything is back to normal. They are still not willing to test residents in my 93 years old mother’s assisted living facility as well.. I’ll vote for Jen Perelman and anyone else touting progressive ideas in November for sure.
